How it works

From scattered notes to clear answers

Nodi keeps you in control: you shape the board, the AI reads it and shows its work.

  1. 01

    Capture everything on one canvas

Double-click anywhere to add a note. Give it a type and color so the board reads at a glance.

    • Observations, findings, metrics, ideas, questions
    • Projects with as many boards as you need
Infinite canvas with color-coded research notes
  2. 02

    Connect the dots

Drag from one note to another to link them, and name the relationship.

    • Supports, contradicts, raises, details…
    • See how evidence and ideas relate
Notes linked with labeled connections such as supports and contradicts
  3. 03

    Summarize with sources

One click turns a board into a structured summary. Every key point lists the notes behind it.

    • Overview plus numbered key points
    • “Show all on canvas” jumps to the sources

Focus on a selection

Analyze the whole board or only the notes you select.

Every claim is traceable

Sources sit under every point. Click one to jump to that note on the canvas.

No wasted calls

Regenerate unlocks only when something the AI reads has changed.

Less sorting through notes. More thinking about what they mean.

Privacy

Your notes, your keys

Nodi is built so that you decide what the AI sees and who pays for it.

Keys encrypted at rest

API keys are encrypted on the server (AES-256-GCM) and never sent back to the browser. You only ever see the last four characters.

Your data stays yours

Every project, board and note is tied to your account and isolated by row-level security in the database.

The AI only sees what you send

Only the board — or the selection — you analyze goes to the provider you chose, with your own key.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need an AI subscription?

You connect an API key from Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter or Hugging Face in Settings. You pay that provider directly for what you use, and OpenRouter also offers free models.

Which AI models can I use?

Any model your provider offers that supports structured answers. Each connected provider has a searchable model picker, with prices and context size when the provider shares them.

Does it work in Spanish and other languages?

Yes. The AI answers in the language of your notes, or in the one you choose: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German or Italian. The interface is in English.

Can I use it on several devices?

Yes. Sign in with Google or with email and password, and your projects and boards sync to every device you sign in on.

What happens to my API key?

It is encrypted on the server and only used to call the provider on your behalf. It is never shown again in full, and you can remove it at any time.
